Pregnancy and birth Support in Surrey and Berkshire
Professional antenatal and postnatal support, hypnobirthing classes and birth photography, offering trusted pregnancy and birth support across Surrey and Berkshire. As an experienced Sandhurst doula, I support families across Berkshire and Surrey, including Bracknell, Camberley, Frimley and Reading.
Pregnancy can feel exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming. You might be worried about pain, anxious about the unknown, or unsure how to prepare for labour and birth. You might even be wondering if you will feel listened to when the day comes.
That is where I come in.
With calm, consistent pregnancy and birth support in Surrey and Berkshire, I help you feel informed, reassured and confident. I support you emotionally and practically, help you prepare for every possibility, and guide you through hypnobirthing techniques that can bring focus, control and calm when you need it most.
You will never feel like you are doing this alone. You will feel supported, heard, and cared for every step of the way.
You’re pregnant. Sensational news! Now what?
As you navigate your way through your pregnancy, your thoughts will naturally stray towards the birth itself. It’s the final chapter of your pregnancy, but the first chapter of your new life with your baby. So it’s worth considering your options carefully.
What will really help you on the day?
What do you want from the experience?
How do you want to welcome your new little one?
As a qualified birth and postnatal doula and antenatal teacher, and a Sandhurst doula supporting families across Berkshire and Surrey, I offer a considered and deeply personal kind of care. With years of experience providing pregnancy and birth support in Surrey and Berkshire, I can help you explore and whittle down the often overwhelming range of choices placed in front of you before, during and after birth.
I take the time to get to know you, listen to you, and learn your story as if it were my own. This allows me to know instinctively what and when you need something and to prioritise you.
Any birth support expert worth his or her salt will tell you that the most important skill in our line of work is a working pair of ears!
I’m here to offer solutions if that’s what you need, and a hug because sometimes that’s all you need.
Birth Photography
Welcoming a baby into the world is such a life-changing event, but not everyone considers having it professionally photographed. As part of the pregnancy and birth support I offer across Surrey and Berkshire, birth photography allows you to capture the powerful and emotional moments of welcoming your baby into the worl
Trust me, once you get past the “You want to photograph the baby crowning? Won’t that make for pretty gory photos?!” way of thinking, you’ll see the utter gorgeousness of beautiful birth photography.
Doula Services
Very different from a midwife or a birthing partner, a professional birthing doula is a non-medical companion who supports you during labour and birth. A Doula is focused entirely on you, helping you feel informed, reassured and confident throughout pregnancy, labour and the early days with your baby.
As a Sandhurst doula providing pregnancy and birth support in Surrey and Berkshire, I offer continuous one-to-one care and emotional support for both you and your partner.
Hypnobirthing
Is hypnobirthing just a fad? Is it only for people avoiding medical care? Is it complicated to learn? Not at all. Hypnobirthing is a practical and well recognised way to prepare for birth. It helps you understand how your body works in labour and teaches simple breathing, relaxation and mindset techniques that bring calm and confidence.
There are many misconceptions about hypnobirthing, and my role is to guide you through the facts so you can make clear, informed choices about your birth. These techniques work alongside modern maternity care and can support you whether you are planning a hospital birth, birth centre experience or home birth.
" Erika is an absolute gem of a doula and I can’t recommend her highly enough. From our very first meeting, she made me feel seen, heard, and genuinely cared for. She helped me clarify my birth preferences, shared evidence-based resources without any pressure, and checked in regularly so I always felt supported and informed"
